What inspired you to start blogging?

- I've always loved to write and one of my favorite college professors inspired me to start blogging and I've been doing it on and off since 2010. I just enjoy updating others with news about fashion and beauty, whether its on my blog or just chit-chating with my friends.

- I'm now located in Maryland, not too far from DC but when I first began blogging i was at Hampton University! You all will definitely see a post about my recent move and why i did it coming soon. 

What made you change your blog name to HERBOSSYASH BOSSYBEAUTYAPPROVED?

- HerBossyAsh is super catchy and i feel like either people get it or they don't, I've made it my brand and you honestly don't see others with the same catch-phrase as the one I've created. Its risque but also BOMB so i honestly love HerBossyAsh and whats its become. 

Where did you attend college and what do you currently do?

 -I attended Hampton University where I received my B.A in Public Relations with a minor in PoliSci in December 2013, After that, i started on my Masters but i have recently paused that path just to focus on my career for the moment. I currently hold a human resource position with a government department and i love it!

Whats plans do you have for your future?

- I honestly would say the most important plan i have for my future right now is to continue to make myself happy and become a better me. I'm doing great in my career and i feel like the next step would be to start a family!

 -Yes, once i get back to blogging, expect some really cool giveaways!

 -“Be the type of women that when your feet hits the ground in the morning, the devils says “damn she’s up!" I don't know who said that quote, but its super sassy and i love it!

Whats the best advice to give to a young girl trying to follow your footsteps?
- My best advice would to definitely be YOU, don't change for anyone not even your BOYFRIEND lol. Make yourself happy and don't be too hard on yourself. Ive left this blog so many times but at the end of the day this is what i absolutely love to do. Its okay to start your process over and over and OVER, its okay because the only person you have something to prove to, is you =)!
