Fitting Room Chronicles: TJ MAXX

Shopping is a girl’s best friend if you let me tell it! I can go to the mall for hours by myself, find gorgeous pieces, hold them until my arms feel like noodles, only to bombard the fitting room with a mini photo shoot! I am an avid TJ Maxx lover and the fact they have no limit on how many pieces you can bring in your room makes then 10x better.

TJ Maxx has the best deals and what I love about them is they are always rotating their wardrobe so visiting every two weeks is a must. I’ve purchased so many trendy sweaters (cowl neck, slits on the side, oversized, etc) from them the past two months and here’s a few pictures of me, I guess you can say “FEELING MYSELF” as I was trying a few pieces on. It also doesn’t hurt that they have AMAZING lighting in the fitting rooms as well.

OH YEA, did you know you can now shop on their website, HOLY GRAIL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I THINK THAT’S PERFECT FOR EXTENDED SIZES AND FINDING PIECES THAT MAY BE IN OTHER STORES!

Favorite Fragrances

As you get older, your love for perfume just magnifies! I am a lover of all sweet smelling fragrances as well as unisex ones. Spraying your favorite scent not only makes you feel good but it also gives you a BOOST of confidence, like you can tackle any and everything that comes your way, rather it’s a big test or an important meeting with your boss. Before this weekend, I only had three scents I absolutely adored, M.A.C Turquatic, DKYN Green Apple, and lastly Jimmy Choo Eau de Parfum. However, after visiting Saks this past weekend I received a sample of the Chanel Mademoiselle and I absolutely fell in love. It’s definitely a young woman scent that seems to linger around for hours, maybe I’ll get a bottle for Christmas, who knows! Tell me some of your must-have favorite scents!

It’s almost winter and it’s time to break out those super trendy scarves! Scarves are so essential to everyone’s wardrobe. It can literally make an outfit FAB in seconds! Vision Board Fleekness

Have you hopped on “board” and created a vision board for 2015? Vision boards have been out for many years but they are definitely the “It” thing to do for this year. Why not make 25 yours? I am all about goals and creating plans on how you want your life to be so why not put it on paper, make it appealing and make it so you see it every single day of your life.

2015 for me is all about career moves, traveling and my relationship so of course that’s mainly what’s on mine. I put it right in front of my bed so every time I wake up in the morning that is what gives me the strength to continue to work harder and love stronger.

Check out your city to see if people are having Vision Board Parties or grab some of your girlfriends, some old magazines and some wine and just do it yourself! I used magazines like Essence, Ebony, Cosmo, Lucky and O which had a lot of motivational pictures and quotes to give my vision board the “fleakness” I desired.
